This course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills needed for responsible firearm handling and serves as a prerequisite for all Civilian Defense instructor-led and live-fire training courses.
If you live in Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, Wyoming, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, and Texas, this online training may fulfill the requirements for obtaining a Concealed Handgun License. Some of these states require a combination of online coursework and in-person firearms training, including live-fire range time. In such cases, you can complete this online class and then participate in an approved live-fire exercise. I recently attended Ty’s’ Basic Pistol class and was thoroughly impressed. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to ensure everyone understood the material, and his depth of knowledge was evident throughout the class. Ty made the experience both educational and comfortable, which is especially important for beginners like myself. His focus on safety and proper handling was reassuring, and he encouraged questions, making sure no one left with doubts.
If you’re considering a concealed carry class, I highly recommend Ty. He’s a great instructor, and his professionalism and dedication to his students really stand out.
