Ty Crawford is a seasoned self-defense and firearms instructor with over 20 years of experience in martial arts, defensive training, and concealed carry instruction. He is certified as an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor. Having trained under top experts, he has developed specialized courses for civilians, law enforcement, and private sectors, focusing on practical skills, situational awareness, and responsible gun ownership.

In addition to his firearms expertise, Ty is a licensed HAM radio operator, a Volunteer Examiner Coordinator (VEC), and an Emergency Services Communication Expert. His deep understanding of emergency communications enhances his training programs, equipping individuals with essential skills to stay connected in critical situations. Committed to empowering others, he ensures his courses provide the confidence and readiness needed for real-world scenarios.

Lew Soccorsi is a highly experienced firearms instructor with over 32 years of teaching in classroom and range settings. He specializes in NRA Basic Pistol, Concealed Carry, and advanced tactical training, offering multiple levels of Tactical Handgun and Carbine instruction. Certified as an NRA Basic Pistol and Range Instructor, as well as a Handgun Instructor through Sig Academy, Lew also holds numerous tactical certifications and a Master Gunsmith Certification.

As a former competitive shooter and IDPA champion, Lew has earned accolades in state and regional events, along with military high-power competitions. He has designed and implemented various firearms training programs and served 40 years on the Mason Dixon Rifle Club Board, including 14 years as President. A retired Mechanical Engineer, Lew is an expert in ballistics and holds concealed carry licenses in multiple states. His dedication to firearms education, safety, and skill development has established him as a respected leader in the industry.
