How do I get started?
How do I access my online course?
After you create your account and log in, you will be taken to your learner dashboard. From your learner dashboard, you can choose to view all courses, ones in progress, finished, passed, and failed.

Select the course you want to view.
The course homepage will open and there will be a continue button on the right that will open the course curriculum.

How long will I be able to access my online course?
After purchasing an online course, you gain ongoing access to the content, including any future updates or revisions.
Can I use my online training certificate to obtain my Concealed Handgun License?
If you live in Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, Wyoming, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, and Texas, the CERT101 online training may fulfill the requirements for obtaining a Concealed Handgun License. Some of these states require a combination of online coursework and in-person firearms training, including live-fire range time. In such cases, you can complete this CERT101 class and then participate in an approved live-fire exercise. Be sure to verify with your local law enforcement agency to confirm that this online training is accepted for Concealed Handgun License applications in your area. Some law enforcement agencies require Civilian Defense to provide an affidavit around the curriculum.
