EMCO101: Emergency Communications & Preparedness equips you with the essential tools, strategies, and skills to stay connected and in control—whether you’re sheltering at home or navigating a crisis on the move.

This course covers multi-layered communication planning, teaching you how to establish effective backup methods when traditional systems fail. You’ll obtain a GMRS license for practical and reliable group communication, with the option to pursue a HAM radio license for expanded capabilities. Additionally, you’ll develop a personalized Emergency Operations Plan using our all-new Civilian Defense Emergency/Crisis Planner, designed to help you confidently manage any crisis with proactive strategies.

As part of EMCO101, you will receive our comprehensive Emergency/Crisis Planner, guiding you step-by-step in creating a robust and adaptable emergency plan tailored to your needs. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, a GMRS Radio License, and the Civilian Defense Emergency/Crisis Planner. You will also have the option to take the HAM Radio Technician License exam on the same day or schedule it for a later date.
